I saw this headline on Yahoo:

United Airlines ducks strikes

I was confused at first glance and had to read it again very slowly paying special attention to punctuation and grammar rules.

Yeah, useless post, but I’m trying to kick start my posting again.

Buckling Down

My family has been out of town for a few days and will be out of town for a couple more weeks. I do miss them, but I have been able to get a ton of stuff done while they are away. Granted, it was a pretty boring Memorial Day weekend sitting in front of the computer, but I made some progress on some things:

  • Switched this site back from TextPattern to the latest WP 1.5.* bits
  • Made a significant release to my side project, the online family calendar
  • Dug my desk out from several weeks worth of bills and statements
  • Began going through several boxes from the attic that I hadn’t seen in years
  • Ordered a new camera and some other stuff to go with it

This week I’ve got a lot of stuff on the day job radar, but if I can keep up an active pace, I might actually get back to some of these other projects that have fallen to the side.
